In 2016, the foundation was able to award its first scholarship to Bailey, a ninth grader from Austin, Texas. Bailey’s Fusion story began when he started middle school. He was attending a school that couldn’t meet his needs and Bailey’s family knew there had to be better options available for their son to succeed.

When Bailey found Fusion everything changed. He quickly started making friends in the Homework Café, his grades improved and his home life finally had peace. But the cost of attending Fusion long-term was overwhelming and Bailey’s family worried he would have to return to his old school.

The Fusion Academy Scholarship Foundation was able to award Bailey a full-time scholarship to help him continue to learn at Fusion Academy Austin.

Baileys story embodies the mission of the Fusion Scholarship Foundation. He thrived as a student at Fusion Academy Austin, an opportunity that would not have been made possible without the support of the Fusion community. Bailey graduated from Fusion in 2022.

We are filled with immense gratitude for all the Fusion families who have continued to support the foundation over the past four years. Through the kindness of our supporters, we have been able to award over $1,000,000 to deserving students and look forward to continuing our mission now and into the future.
